Just a little bit of news here, no art. Sorry, maybe I'll fix that tomorrow...
I'll be sharing a table again this year in the artist's alley at Emerald City Comic Con. Originally it was to be with Kristen Perry, but as she's swamped with projects, she hasn't been able to prepare anything for this year. It looks like I'll be splitting it with Richard Anderson, if only for one day (Friday), and another fellow whose name I cannot recall, but I think he builds little model buildings. Rich will have a number of prints for sale.
The Point: I'm hard at work right now putting together a new sketchbook, which will be available for purchase alongside last year's Cars and Rockets, Mostly. I'm making good time, and if Lulu is as phenomenally quick on the turnaround as they've proven thus far, I will have plenty available. It's shaping up to be even more fun than the original. The book will be available on Lulu before the con, but if you're local or plan to attend I'd suggest you pick it up in person so you don't have to pay for shipping. Stand by for further sketchbook progress announcements!

Awesome man. I would love to get a copy :)
I don't know if you remember me, we met at the Seattle Massive Black workshop I think 3 years ago. I must say it was hard to find your work after we met that day. I just find very limited art out there back then, I am glad you have this blog now!
I wanted to see more of those little sketches of the cannons I saw when I was watching the Video for Guild Wars 2, really awesome designs. Can you post those?
Yay -- I just got your previous book and I'm enjoying it immensely. Looking forward to the new one! Good Luck on the convention.
Could you be more specific for which day you will show on comic con and where, since you are my only purpose to go there.
That's great news. Will you be including more creature based work in this book?
I'll be there for the whole show, myself. There are definitely going to be creatures in this book, but my personal work over the last year has been more dinosaurey than alien/fantasy, so there's more of a speculative-naturalist bent than some might expect.
I'll have to check which art that was again in the video, but if it's been seen in public, I can post it.
WANT! :)
