Much room for mushrooms: it's rainy and cool and Fungus Season!
I fancy myself something of a wildlife photographer, but I gotta be able to fiddle with all my manual settings. Fungus stays put for all my twiddly tweaking.
Thats some great photography, looks like you found a really nice looking woodland area, bet it must have been crawling with all manner of salamanders, are you in the USA?
I'm near Seattle, Washington. This is at Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, for anyone familiar with the area. I haven't seen any salamanders here- I think it's probably not reliably wet enough, at least here in the rainshadow of the Olympic range. I do see and hear northern red-legged frogs a lot though. As the rain picks up and the streams refill this fall, expect more watery photos here!
